The Beijing Kindsku Trading company (China) intends to import Moldovan wines.
According to Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova Vasile Bumacov, representatives of the company are recommended by the China Ministry of Trade for importing Moldovan wines.
"A delegation of China together with representatives of the company, which includes an enologist, came to Moldova for selecting Moldovan wines and sending them to China", Bumacov said.
The Beijing Kindsku Trading company intends to promote Moldovan wines at the Chinese market through an international exhibition that will take place on March 12, in China.
According to Ambassador of China to Moldova Fang Li, the consumption of Moldovan wines and liqueurs went up in China after there were presented wine samples in Beijing, in September 2010.
The Ambassador said "that Moldovan wines are in good demand at the Chinese market; and there were signed a series of agreements on supplying alcohol beverages to China and will be delivered 15 containers with Moldovan wines to China in the eve of the Chinese New Year celebrated on February 3".
Deputy President of the Lion Gri Moldovan wine producing company Nelly Sonic said to your Infotag correspondent that the company she leads is the only company in Moldova that exports its wines to the Chinese market.
"Lion Gri exported over 1 million bottles of wines to China in 2010. It is very difficult to collaborate with the Chinese. People in China prefer to buy high-quality goods, as well as there is demanded a maximum punctuality", Sonic said.
She advised wine producers, who want to supply their goods to China, to be more careful to the quality, because the Chinese market is a severe one in this respect, which differ it from the Russian market.
Infotag's dossier: Moldova exported wine goods at the amount of US$2.2 million to China in 2010, against US$380 thousand in 2009.
