December heating bills for Chisinau residents to be 70% higher than November bills
The December bill amounts for heating will go up 70% in comparison to November bills due to the cold weather, Commercial Director of the Termocom [heat and hot water supplying] enterprise Mihai Arusoi said to your Infotag correspondent.
According to him, "owners of over 227 thousand apartments will have to pay for heating up to 1 thousand lei and of over 7.4 thousand apartments (4%) - the sum exceeding 2 thousand lei".
"The settling level within the 2010-2011 heating season is 35% for economic agents and about 28% for housing stock, which is 10% more in comparison to the last season level", Arusoi said.
He said that Termocom intends to keep existent tariffs till the end of the season, but, of course, will be forced to increase them if the cost of gas and heating from CET goes up.
