Elena Ford takes position at Ford Credit
Ford Motor Credit Co., the auto maker’s financial arm, names Elena Ford executive vice president-global brand and marketing, a spokeswoman confirms.
Elena Ford, cousin of Ford Motor Co. Executive Chairman Bill Ford, currently is the car maker’s director-North American product marketing, planning and strategy. In her new position starting August 1st, Elena Ford will be responsible for “developing and implementing global brand and marketing strategies and optimizing synergies across the credit organization,” the spokeswoman told Ward’s.
The spokeswoman added that a lot of the responsibilities and experience that Elena Ford has from her current job is applicable, for example, her knowledge of the brand, marketing, business strategy, finance and web solutions are all applicable to the new position.”
