Eleven state enterprises put up for sale
The Public Property Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Trade has announced a contest to privatize 11 state-owned companies, whose initial value is 853.42 million lei.
According to the Agency, the administrative block of the Institute of Microbiology and Virusology and the adjoining land that occupies an area of 9.0671 hectares in Chisinau will be sold for 600 million lei - the highest price. The Chisinau-based company that repairs energy equipment “Energoreparatii” will cost about 84 million lei, while “Sanatorium – Moldova” - 70 million lei.
The scientific production company “Alco-N” will be offered for sale for 41 million lei, the Balti-based intermediary commercial organization “Meridian” for 25.3 million lei, the Mechanical Repair Plant for 4 million lei and the Briceni Spirit Factory for 1 million lei. 
There will be privatized three joint stock companies, namely SA "Armo-Beton" (100% of stock for 15m lei), SA “Bigamos Farm” (100% of stock for 2m lei) and SA “Argint Farm” (70% of stock for 1.1m lei).
The applications must be filed to the Public Property Agency by July 28. The contest is open to individuals and legal entities from Moldova and abroad. It will be held in two stages// Reporter.MD
