Fincombank will raise its interest in carpet factory Floare-Carpet
The commercial bank Fincombank will increase its holding in the Chisinau carpet factory Floare-Carpet from 12.86% to 16.31%, after purchasing 209,967 shares or 3.45% of the stock.
Fincombank intended to buy another 738,286 ordinary shares in the carpet factory (12.13% of stock) for 6.1 lei per share with a nominal value of 6 lei, but the factory put up for auction only 3.45% of stock.
In 2007, SA Floare-Carpet made a new profit of 1.97 million lei, a decrease of 35% compared with a year before. The sales totaled 84.2 million lei, a rise of 5.6% compared with 2006. The trading profit rose by 5.7%, to 66.7 million lei. The authorized and additional capital of Floare-Carpet is 36.5 million lei.
