Foreign investment in Moldovan companies’ authorized capital rose about fourfold
The foreign investment in the authorized capital stock of the Moldovan joint companies in the first quarter of this year increased about fourfold compared with the corresponding period last year, up to 90.347 million lei.
According to the State Registration Chamber, investment in foreign capital companies this March made up 82% of the total foreign investment or 74.480 million lei.
A number of 230 foreign capital companies had been registered in Moldova during January-March, an insignificant increase compared with last year. The registered enterprises work mainly in retail trade, transport and construction.
