Gazprom to open representative office in Moldova

The Russian gas company Gazprom will open a representative office in Moldova. According to the press service of Gazprom, such a decision was made at a meeting of the company’s Board.

The representative office will be opened in Chisinau. The major objective of the office will be to develop cooperation between Gazprom and Moldova.

Gazprom owns 50% of the shares in the gas distribution company Moldova-Gaz SA, the Moldovan authorities – 35.33%, while the Transdniestrian authorities –13.44%.
