Industrial output rose 4.6% in half a year

The industrial companies in the first half of this year manufactured goods to the value of about 14.105 million lei, an increase of 4.6% compared with the corresponding period last year.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the enterprises of the food and beverages industry increased production levels by 11.8%, while those working in the energy industry by 8%. The given companies account for 36.4% and, respectively, 13.1% of the industrial production volume.

Production of wine rose about 1.6 times, of distilled alcoholic drinks – 1.4 times, of furniture – 21%, of bread and fresh bakery products - 14.3%, of canned meat and meat products – 12.7%, of dairy products – 6.2%, of footwear – 7.4%, etc.

At the same time, the production of clothes, oils and fats, mineral water and soft drinks, glass and glass objects, cigarettes, plastic and rubber articles and other goods has decreased.//REPORTER.MD
