Industrial prices increased 6% in first half of 2008

The prices of industrial products grew by about 6% in the first half of this year. On the home market, the industrial prices rose by 9.2% on average. On the foreign markets, the prices of the national industrial products increased by only 1.7%.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the prices of products from extractive industry in June went up by 4.4% on May and by over 16% on last December. At the same time, the prices in processing industry fell by 0.2% on May and by 5.5 % on last December.

In the energy industry, the June prices remained at the same level as in May, but rose by 15.8% on December 2007.//REPORTER.MD
