International Investment Forum to take place in Chisinau
On 5-6th March the International Investment Forum “Invest in Moldova "will be held in Chisinau, the Ministry of Economy informs.
The main purpose of the event is to increase investment flows to Moldova by informing foreign investors on investment opportunities in Moldova, facilitating dialogue between foreign investors and local companies, identifying and promoting investment projects and focusing investors’ attention on specific sectors of the national economy.
The event’s agenda provides a plenary session and panel discussions during which will be addressed topics such as Moldova's investment climate characteristics, privatization and public-private partnership, investment projects in Moldova, investment opportunities in the agribusiness sector in Moldova, investment in energy efficiency field and others.
Visits to free economic areas are also planned, as well as to industrial parks, Moldovan enterprises interested in attracting investments particular in projects’ implementation, state enterprises undergoing privatization and others.
The Forum “Invest in Moldova "will gather representatives of the central and local authorities of the Republic of Moldova, local and foreign business associations, investment funds, foreign investors, international organizations, investment promotion agencies, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Moldova, local businesses, etc.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Economy, MIEPO and Energy Efficiency Agency, in partnership with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) - World Bank Group.
