Japan to grant Moldova 3.5 million dollars for geo-space infrastructure development
The State Roads Administration signed three contracts on the restoration works of the national highways M2 Chisinau-Soroca and R3 Chisinau-Hincesti.
Transport and Road Infrastructure Minister Anatol Salaru said that two contracts were signed with an Italian company, which will restore the national highway M2 Chisinau-Soroca. The contracts are estimated at 200 million lei and respectively 71 million lei.
The third contract, exceeding 126 million lei, was singed with a Portuguese company and sees repairs of the national highway R3 Chisinau-Hincesti.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank have provided financial support in the form of loans to this end. The proceeds will be used for restoration works, as well as for technical supervision and monitoring.
