Law allowing certain Transdniestrian companies to pay lower VAT
President Vladimir Voronin on February 11 promulgated the law that provides for the reduction in the Value Added Tax on bakery products, milk and dairy products supplied by Transdniestrian economic entities on the Moldovan market
According to the presidential press service, the Transdniestrian companies that do not have fiscal relations with Moldova’s budget system will pay a Value Added Tax of 8% on the mentioned products.
The amendments were introduced following requests from Transdniestrian economic entities so as to avoid discriminatory treatment when levying VAT.
