Lufthansa, Air Moldova open direct daily Munich-Chisinau flights
The largest German air company, national air carrier of Germany opens a new regular Munich-Chisinau air line. Air Moldova, which concluded a code-sharing agreement with Lufthansa, act as the Moldovan partner of the German company.
The Chisinau-Munich air line became the second one in the Air Moldova route network and is the result of its joint project with Lufthansa.
As Infotag already reported, the flights will be implemented daily, at first in a CRJ-900 airplane and from July 1 - in a more roomy A319 airbus.
LH 3256 flight departs from Munich at 9:00 and arrives to Chisinau at 12:20, but LH 3257 flight starts its flight back from Chisinau at 13:10 and arrives to Munich at 14:35. According to the company's data, the flights are scheduled so that to allow passengers to change comfortably airplanes in Munich to fly in more than 115 directions to 42 countries.
According to Lufthansa's data, the flight time is 2 hours 20 minutes. The ticket price is from 229 EUR (all-inclusive).
Owing to the Air & Rail product (joint transportation, including the Air Moldova air conveyance and the Deutsche Bahn AG railroad conveyance) passengers may quickly reach any of 6000 stations of the German railroad for various directions.
In 2009 Moldavian Airlines submitted an application for implementing Chisinau-Munich-Chisinau flights, but was rejected.
