Marian Lupu demands Government to elaborate 2011 budget bill
Leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova (DPM) Marian Lupu has demanded the Government to elaborate quickly the 2011 Budget bill.
On Thursday, Lupu said that Moldova had promised to elaborate annually "the provisional expenses for medium term", but the Filat's Government does not do this.
"According to the legislation, the provisional expenses for medium term must be presented before April 10, and the Cabinet of Ministers should approve the 2011 tax policy no later then May 1. These obligations are not executed", Lupu said.
He said the Government must present to the Parliament budget bill for the next year.
"After elaborating the Budget bill and making documents concerning tax policy, we will propose our view of the state economy to enterprises and foreign investors, so that economic agents could prepare their business projects. There is very important that local authorities would acquaint with financial possibilities for the next year, social, economical projects and population supporting projects", Lupu said.
He said he is afraid that Moldova risks entering the 2011 year "without a budget and tax policy" which will strongly influence the economical stability by virtue of complicated political season this autumn.
