„Moldcell” Company will become a leader on the market of telecommunications from Moldova, the majority shareholder of the company asserts
One of the most influent companies in the field of telecommunications from Europe - „TeliaSonera”, declares that „Moldcell”, a mobile communication company, will become leader on the market of telecommunications from Moldova. In 2008, the majority shareholder of the Company „Moldcell” is ready to invest more in the quality of its services than last year, DECA-press Agency transmits.
Being in an official visit to Republic of Moldova, the president and the general executive director of the Company „TeliaSonera”, Lars Nyberg, declared on Friday, in time of a press conference, that they have started investing in Eurasia at the end of the 90s and now, they are leaders on the market of telecommunications from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and the second in Moldova.
He specified that TeliaSonera invests in the development of Moldova, because it believes in the economical growth of the country. „Moldova has great potential for the development of the field of informational technologies. In this context, „TeliaSonera” is among the series of most influent investors in Europe and CIS states”, the president of the company „TeliaSonera” said.
The delegation of the Swiss-Finnish company „TeliaSonera” included the representatives of the top management of one of the most important and influent international companies in the field of telecommunications, leader in North and Baltic countries, having strong positions in Eurasia, including Russia (Megafon) and Turkey (Turkell). The geographical presence of the company „TeliaSonera” covers 433 million inhabitants. „TeliaSonera” and its associates provide service to more than 100 million subscribers from 18 countries, having 28 thousand employees. // DECA-Press
