Moldcell has a new Director General
Chiril Gaburic has been appointed as Director General of Moldcell. Earlier, Gaburic acted as head of the company’s Marketing Department. He replaced Yusuf Baykan, who resigned on his own accord.
Halim Ates, Chief Operations Officer of TeliaSonera Eurasia, which is a major shareholder of Moldcell, said that the shareholders’ decision to name a local specialist to the position of General Manager shows that the Moldovan team’s work is appreciated.
Chiril Gaburici has worked for the company since 2001. From 2004, he had been the head of the Marketing Department. Gaburici assured that Moldcell will follow the declared development course and will offer the customers mobile communication and services of a high quality at accessible prices.
The mobile phone operator Moldcell started to work in Moldova in April 2000.
