Moldova Agroindbank named Best Bank in Moldova in 2008
The British journal Finance Central Europe named Moldova Agroindbank as the Best Bank in Moldova the third year in a row.
The journal selected Moldova Agroindbank as a winner in following nominations: the best bank in Moldova 2008, the best bank in Moldova by assets strength 2008, the best bank in Moldova by capital strength 2008 and the best bank in Moldova by gross profit 2008.
According to representatives of Moldova Agroindbank, this title confirms the efficiency of the bank’s strategies and its sustainable growth. Earlier, the financial journal Euromoney named the bank as the Best Bank in Moldova in 2007, while Global Finance included it in the list of the Best Emerging Market Banks in Central and Eastern Europe.
Presently, Moldova Agroindbank is a leader in Moldova’s banking sector. It holds 21.5 % of the total assets, 22.9% of the total balance of loans released by banks and 23% of the total deposits attracted by banks.
