Moldova Agroindbank to receive us $15 million from international financial corporation

International Financial Corporation (IFC) will provide Moldova-Agroindbank with US $15 million. The agreement will be signed during the visit of World Bank president Robert Zoellick on August 11-12 to Chisinau.

The WB messages says the credit will be directed towards long-term (up 7 years) financing of small and medium businesses.

"An additional benefit represent the US $5 financing of trade that aims to support domestic importers and exports", says the message.

Infotag dossier: IFC is member of the World Bank and supports the development of the private sector. World Bank President, Robert Zoellick will visit Moldova within a tour including Bulgaria and Latvia. He will meet with Prime Minister, members of the government and will get acquainted with implementation of projects financed by the World Bank.
