Moldova could pay for Russian gas in rubles
Russia’s gas giant Gazprom is considering the possibility of Moldova paying for Russian natural gas in rubles, Gazprom's official representative Sergey Kupriyanov told Echo Moskvy radio station.
Speaking about the recent talks with the Moldovan side, Kupriyanov said that the agreements reached enable to shift to payments in rubles. “Anyway, the contracts must be also amended,” Kupriyanov said.
It was earlier announced that Belarus could also pay for Russian gas in rubles. REPORTER.MD
