Moldovan industrial production goes up 7.6%
The industrial enterprises of Moldova produced goods at the mount of 24.299 billion lei (US$2.02 billion) in January-November, which is 7.6% more than last year. The growth is 6.6% according to results of the 1st half year.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the growth was mostly caused by the processing industry production amount growth by 8.6%, whose share in the aggregate industrial production is 84.7%.
The biggest growth is observed in the sugar issue - by 2.3 times (to 829.7 million lei); in pump, compressor and hydraulic equipment production by 96.6% (to 102.3 million); tobacco goods production up 39.5% (to 544 million lei), machinery and equipment production up 35.6% (to 332.6 million lei).
The biggest money revenue comes from the wine production - over 1.5 billion lei. For the first time in years, there was marked a considerable growth of the mining industry production - up 6% to 324.3 million lei.
At the same time, series of goods groups continue showing a reduction. It is concerned of the fat-oil production (87% of the last year level), flour-grinding (84.3%) and woodworking industry (74.8%).
