Moldovan national budget revenues up by 13.8 per cent in January-July 2010

Revenues worth 14,606.9 billion lei (959 million euros) entered the national public budget (BPN) in January-July 2010, which makes 13.8 per cent more against the same period of the year before.

Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta has said that, in the first seven months of 2010, expenses of 16,129.4 billion lei were made from the BPN, which is by 14 per cent less against the planned indexes.

The expenses grew by 4.8 per cent against January-July 2009.

By 31 July 2010, the national public budget's deficit was 1,522.5 billion lei, of which: the state budget with a deficit of 1,399.6 billion lei , the budgets of the administrative territorial units with a surplus 117 million lei, the state social insurance budget with a deficit of 391.6 million lei and the mandatory health insurance fund with a surplus of 154.3 million lei.
