November inflation rate 2.5 times lower than in October


Prices in Moldova went up 0.6% on the average in November against 1.5% in the previous month. The 2010 inflation rate has thus reached 6.7% since the year beginning, and 7.7% over last 12 months.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, prices went up most of all on food stuff in November - 1.2%; while, at the same time, prices on non-food stuff only up 0.6%; and prices on services did not change at all.

The most considerable price growth is observed for sunflower seed oil - 9.7%, vegetables (+9.4%), and grapes (+7.2%). At the same time, the prices on sugar went down 8.3%, eggs (down 5%), non-alcoholic beverages (-3%), fruits (- 2.9%).

Only prices on coal (+2.6%), clothes and shoes (0.8%) went up among other non-food stuff.
