Orange has 1.4 million clients in Moldova
Orange Moldova now has about 1.4 million users. Since the start of this year, it has registered 135,000 new clients.
Orange director general Bruno Duthoit said that the company’s clients can now make national and international calls through Mobile Internet and Mobile TV at advantageous prices. Presently, 20% of the clients use Mobile Internet at a speed of 236Kb/s through EDGE.
According to representatives of the company, 99 new stations have been set up this year in order to improve the quality of the services. Half of the stations were installed in rural areas so as to extend the coverage, while half are intended to improve the coverage. 
A new service launched, Telephones in Installments, enables the clients to purchase cellphones in installments over a period of 6 to 12 months.
Orange now covers 97.5% of Moldova’s territory.//REPORTER.MD
