Other three Moldovan companies export wine in bulk to Russia
Another three companies, Lion-Gri, DK-Intertrade, and Salcuta will be able to export wines in bulk to Russia.
So far, only three companies, Barza Alba, Kvint and Imperial Vin have had the right to export wine in bulk to the Russian market, according to data by the Russian sanitary authority Rospotrebnadzor.
The deputy director-general of the Moldova-Vin Agricultural and Industrial Agency, Nicolae Taran, has told that Moldova is interested in increasing the exports of wines in bulk, as it has big stocks of such wines, deposited over the last two years.
Taran also said that a special regulation on the export of wine products in bulk is to be soon signed with Russia, under which other companies will be able to export beverages to the Russian market too.
Presently, 39 companies export bottled alcoholic beverages to Russia on the basis of the positive notifications got from Rospotrebnadzor. These companies might deliver wines in bulk as well.
The export of Moldovan wines amounted to 45 million dollars during the first four months of 2009, decreasing about 30 per cent against the same period last year. About 7-10 per cent of all the export is the wine in bulk.
