Over US$900 in assistance for Orasul Vinului company
The state-owned company “Orasul Vinului” (“Wine Town”) will receive 9.3 million lei (about US$963,000) in financial assistance from the state. Such a decision was made by the Government. It ordered that the Ministry of Finance allocates the given sum to “Moldova-Vin” Agency.
The Wine Town project was initiated in 2005. The complex will be a modern recreational center with restaurants, tasting rooms, shops, representative offices of wine companies, hotels etc. It will be located near Codru town that forms part of the municipality of Chisinau, not far from the National Institute of Winegrowing and Winemaking. It is planned that the complex will be put in commission on the National Wine Day this year. The Wine Town will occupy an area of 14.83 hectares and is built according to the design of architect Victor Vieru.//REPORTER.MD
