"Russia negotiates with Moldova a new list of Moldovan fruit and vegetable exporters to its market, so till the end of the day we will send you the updated list of companies which are authorized to export their agriculture products to Russia", Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Valeriu Cosarciuc said in a press conference on Thursday.

He said the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (RosSelKhozNadzor) agreed to consider with Moldova the exportation of vegetables and fruits after the conversation between Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat and his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin.

Cosarciuc said the new exporter list will be made by the Agriculture Ministry together with the Association of Plant Product Producers and Exporters to Russia.

"We do not know the exact number of companies which will be included in the list, but they will be more than 50", Minister said.

He said, first of all, they will choose members of the Association and also companies, which made no infringements concerning supplied product safety and quality.

He said a representative of the Ministry will go today to Moscow to hand the list, and also to consider the situation.

"Russian Federation was and remains the most important partner of Moldova, and we are interested to keep out good relationships", Minister said.
