Singapore firms view China as country with best business prospects
Singapore (dpa) - China emerged as the country with the best business prospects followed by Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a survey of companies in Singapore said on Monday.
The Business Climate Survey, which polled 111 firms, found 29.8 per cent opting for China, 13.8 per cent for Malaysia and 11.7 per cent for the UAE.
In a similar survey last year, China also took the top spot with 20.8 per cent.
"Malaysia's and the UAE's business prospects are also rosier as viewed by current respondents, while that of Indonesia and India have dipped," the survey report said.
