Tiraspol brick factory will export its products to Ukraine
The Tiraspol-based brick factory plans to start exporting products to Ukraine in the near future. Presently, the plant sells its products on the home market only.
The plant was purchased by Elitstroykeramica for US$445,000. The new owner pledged to invest about US$235,000 in the development of the plant.
According to the economy ministry of the Transdniestrian region, during three years Elitstroykeramica settled the plant’s debts, raised the salaries and the production volume by 30%.
According to REPORTER.MD’s correspondent in Tiraspol, the brick plant was built in the 19th century and is the largest brick producer in Transdniestria. The plant makes 17 million bricks a year.//REPORTER.MD
