Ukraine loses 3 cents per every kilowatt-hour of power exported to Moldova
Ukraine loses 3 cents per every kilowatt hour of electric power exported to Moldova, MP on behalf of the Party of Regions and former Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Yuri Boyko said.
According to the Ukrainian MP, Ukraine also loses 2 cents per one kilowatt-hour of power exported to Poland and 2.1-2.2 cents per one kilowatt-hour of power exported to Hungary and Slovakia.
The Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine says that over January-May 2008, Ukraine supplied 1.167 billion kW/hour of power to Moldova or by 4.8% more than in the same period last year.
Ukraine’s power exports to Moldova make up 39.4% of the total exports. Moldova takes the first position by the volume of electrical energy imported from Ukraine, after Hungary.//REPORTER.MD
