Ukraine offers fuel to Moldova in aid
Ukraine provided 574,826 tonnes of fuel worth US$1.134 million in humanitarian aid to Moldova.
According to a communique from the Ukrainian Embassy in Moldova, the fuel was donated under a decree signed by Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko and under a contract signed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ukrprintbud SRL and the Agency for Material Reserves, Public Acquisitions and Humanitarian Aid of Moldova.
Under the contract, 20% of the aid will be distributed to Transdniestria.
To date, Moldova received aid for flood victims from the Czech Republic, Turkey, Austria, Russia, the United States, Lithuania, UNICEF, the Red Cross.//REPORTER.MD
