US magazine nominates Moldovan bank as best foreign exchange provider
The US publication Global Finance has nominated the commercial bank Moldova Agroindbank as the best foreign exchange provider from Moldova.
The distinction was awarded within a yearly report which designates the best financial institutions from all over the world. The editors of Global Finance along with famous experts in finances, industry and technologies, directors of world leading companies selected the best traditional and online foreign exchange operators from about 90 states. Deutsche Bank was named as the global winner.
The criteria that imposed Moldova Agroindbank as the best Moldovan foreign exchange provider included transaction volume, market share, scope of world coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
The magazine's editors said that the nomination of the best foreign exchange banks and providers, despite risks that trigger volatilities on foreign exchange markets, shows the bank's power and high degree of knowledge and capacities. This helps them cope with the turbulence in the markets.
This is for the second time after 2010 that Moldova Agroindbank is nominated as the best foreign exchange provider by this US magazine. At the same time, Global Finance recognized the commercial bank Moldova Agroinbank as "The Best Bank from Republic of Moldova in 2010", and included it for the fourth time in the list of the best banks on the markets of the emerging countries from the Central and South-Eastern Europe.
In 2010, the bank had over 600,000 clients - a record-high for Moldova's banking market.
