USA to invest in Transnistria
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) plans of implementing the “competiveness of agricultural households and development of enterprises” project in Transnistria.
The program will acquire the necessary equipment for the development of small and middle enterprises. USAID officials from Moldova had a meeting on Monday, January 31, with entrepreneurs from Tiraspol. The representatives presented the projects they want to implement in the region. They have been told about the issues the agricultural households deal with, as well as the consulting companies from Transnistria.
During this month the USAID officials are planning on drafting an action plan according to the data collected. The experts will give trainings in Transnistria in order to improve and develop the consulting services in the region.
