Victoriabank elects new administrative board led by Plahotniuc
On Friday, the general assembly of shareholders of Victoriabank elected a new composition of its administrative board. Influential businessman Vladimir Plahotniuc was elected the chairman of the board.
The meeting was attended by 47 out of bank's 207 shareholders who hold 53% of the bank's total shares.
The new administrative board has 7 persons and is elected for 4 years. It includes: Vladimir Plahotniuc -vice-president of the administrative board of Petrom-Moldova, Tamara Andrusca - department head of Petrom-Moldova, Ecaterina Salinschi - director general of the Nobil Grup company, Iurie Carp - entrepreneur, Eugeniu Baleca - director general of Franzeluta company, Vasile Botnari - director general of the Chisinau Airport Service company, Victor Turcan - Victoriabank's stockholder.
The meeting approved a corporate bank code and also rates of remunerations and compensations to administrative board members to an amount of 0.5% from bank's 2010 revenues, which are predicted to reach 120 million lei.
Chairperson of the stockholders' meeting, Victoriabank president - Natalia Politov-Cangas thanked all stockholders for participating in the meeting and said that the team will continue the effective and dynamic bank development, which was proved over the last years when Victoriabank ranked 2nd in the Moldovan bank system.
Infotag's dossier: According to 2010 bank results, Victoriabank assets reached 6.06 billion lei, the aggregate regulatory capital - 771.43 million, liquid assets - 1.99 billion, all deposits - 4.92 billion lei, including individuals' capitals - 3.19 billion, advances portfolio - 3.71 billion lei.
