First Vice-Premier, Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon is Moldova’s representative at a sitting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow.

According to the ministry’s press service, there are 19 items, including the practice of applying the external trade restrictions, monetary and transport policy, working out the CIS Economic Development Strategy, on the agenda.

It is planned to discuss relations between the two states, the implementation of the Protocol of the Commission’s sitting in Chisinau of October 29, 2007, In the course of Dodon’s meeting with Co-Chairman of the Moldovan-Russian Governmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, Russian Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fursenko.

Dodon will also have a meeting with Minister of Economic Development and Trade Elvira Nabiullina to discuss the possibility of setting up joint ventures and experience exchange in economy. // Infotag
