The third top executive at the British Airport Authority is departing after a disappointing opening at London's Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

Heathrow's Managing Director Mark Bullock, who assumed responsibility for Terminal 5 in November 2006, is leaving as part of a structural change BAA said Tuesday, The Times of London reported.

Both the Director of Operations Gareth Kirkwood and Director of Customer Service David Noyes left BAA after Terminal 5 opened in March to a chaotic opening marred by flight cancellations and delays and by mountains of mishandled luggage.

Bullock will be replaced temporarily by Terry Morgan, BAA's airport services director. In September, Mike Brown, chief operating officer of London Underground, will replace Brown, BAA announced.
