Moldindconbank will issue a new set of ordinary shares worth 21.2m lei
Moldindconbank SA will issue the twelfth closed set of ordinary shares worth 21.2 million lei. A final decision will be made at the ordinary meeting of the bank’s shareholders scheduled for May 22. The meeting will also approve the list of share owners.
The shareholders will consider the possibility of selling or transferring the preferred shares. The yearly general meeting of shareholders decided that the preferred shares of the second and third class will be converted into ordinary shares. The net profit of Moldindconbank SA last year rose by 40.4%, up to 91.4 million lei. The bank’s capital totaled 398 million lei, as opposed to 304 million lei at the start of 2006. The deposits, including those made by legal entities, private individuals and other banks, came to over 3 billion lei, an increase of 1.140 million lei year on year. The credits added up to 2.7 billion lei. They rose by 1.70 billion lei on 2006.
