The two veterinary diagnosis laboratories located in the south and north of the country work to maintain the health of the animals and provide services to the economic entities operating in region. But they need equipment worth about 10 million euros and this money could be provided by the World Bank as part of a project.

Such a statement was made by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Anatol Gorodenco at a recent meeting with a group of Italian experts.

Sources in the Agriculture Ministry’s press service told REPORTER.MD that the meeting participants discussed the intention agreement signed by Moldova and Italy in 2006.

In another development, Gorodenco said that the laboratory of the State Inspectorate for Phytosanitary Quarantine and other similar institutions also need investments of about 10 milliohm euros// Reporter.MD
