Russian businessmen willing to invest more money in Moldova
The Russian businesspeople are interested in increasing their investments in the Moldovan economy”, the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Sergey Mironov said, while on an official visit to Moldova.
Mironov said that the Moldovan-Russian commercial-economic cooperation is developing. Trade between the two countries last year was US$1.3 billion. The Russian official stressed that though the Russian businessmen are interested in investing more resources in the Moldovan economy, Moldova must create more attractive conditions for foreign investors. Mironov said that 28 Russian economic entities actively cooperate with Moldovan companies working in different regions of the country. According to him, the economic forums that are held in Baikal region, in Saint Petersburg and other Russian towns play an important role in establishing economic ties. These meetings bring together businesspeople and MPs from the CIS states that strengthen and develop the professional relations,” Mironov said // Reporter.MD Publication date: 20 May 2008 Source: Archive ADsRelated links- Investprivatbank pays dividends for 2007 - Investment in fixed capital up 12.3% - Microinvest receives finance to lend to rural businesses - Only one fifth of investments in fixed capital come from abroad - Investments of 50m euros in Shopping Malldova center - Investprivatbank will raise capital by 50m lei - Foreign direct investment in Moldova up twofold - The Swedish company are interested in the market of Moldova - Microinvest has raised authorized capital to 73.8m lei - Azeri banks disposed to invest in Moldovan economy Latest news
