Rospotrebnadzor to examine wine samples from Cricova and Vitis Hancesti
Russia’s food safety body Rospotrebnadzor allowed the Moldovan wine companies Cricova and Vitis Hancesti to submit wine samples for examination in order to receive authorizations for exporting wine products to Russia.
According to the press service of Rospotrebnadzor, 31 Moldovan wine companies have presented samples of wine products to Rospotrebnadzor for the sanitary-epidemiological inspection so far. As a result of the examination, 26 companies that produce alcoholic drinks were authorized to export 677 types of wine and cognac to Russia. Since Russia lifted the ban on the import of Moldovan wine products, the Moldovan companies have exported 8.86 million liters of wine and 2.28 million liters of cognac.
