Moldova ranks 136th in the world by GDP
Moldova takes the 136th position in the world by the Gross Domestic Product. According to a World Bank report, the top ten positions by GDP are taken in descending order by the United States, Japan, Germany, China, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, and Brazil, Washington Profile reports.
Russia ranks the 11th, Ukraine – the 48th, Kazakhstan – the 55th, Belarus – the 67th, Lithuania – the 72nd, Azerbaijan – the 77th, Latvia – the 80th, Turkmenistan – the 81st, Estonia – the 88th, Georgia – the 114th, Armenia – the 119th, Kyrgyzstan – the 140th, Tajikistan – the 142nd. The world GDP in 2007 was 54.3 trillion USD.
