The volume of remittances to Moldova in January-April 2008 has made almost 0,5 billion dollars
In January-April, 2008 in Moldova from physical persons from abroad through commercial banks of the country has acted 474,96 million dollars, that on 64,3 % is more than parameters for the same period of 2007.
According to National bank of Moldova, from a total sum of translations for first four months of this year more than 359,83 million dollars, or 75,7 %, has acted by means of systems of fast remittances. In particular, in January, 2008 remittances from abroad physical persons through commercial banks of Moldova have made 89,72 million dollars, in February - 104,55 million dollars, in March - 126,4 million dollars, in April - 154,29 million dollars. The volume of receipts to Moldova from physical persons from abroad through commercial banks in 2007 has reached record parameters - 1 billion 216,22 million dollars, having increased in comparison with 2006 on 42,3 %.
