Eximbank receives new credit line worth 25m euros
Veneto Banca Holding has offered a new credit line worth 25 million euros to Eximbank Gruppo Veneto Banca. The money will be used to continue financing the medium-term projects of the corporate clients for a period of up to seven years.
This is the fourth credit line provided by Veneto Banca Holding since it purchased the entire holding in Eximbank in May 2006. The first three credit lines to the value of 39.2 million euros overall were granted last year. According to Eximbank, the signature of the new agreement at a time when the national market experiences a shortage of medium and long-term financing will allow the bank to continue the lending programs designed for companies that work in the real sector of the national economy. BC Eximbank SA was founded in January 1994 by presidential decree instead of the Moldovan department of the former Soviet bank "Vneseconombank" and was later transformed into the division for currency operations of the National Bank of Moldova. Presently, the bank has 18 branches and 21 representative offices all over the country.// Reporter.MD Publication date: 02 July 2008 Source: Archive ADsRelated links- Moldindconbank and Eximbank raise deposit interest rates - Masked persons steal 220,000 lei from Eximbank Latest news
