The prices of construction-assembly works over April-June 2008 have risen by 8.5% on the first quarter of 2008 and by over 20% compared with the corresponding period last year.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the prices in the area of house building rose by about 6.5% on the first quarter and by more than 20% on the last year.
The prices of construction-assembly works in the electroenergy sector increased by over 10%, in transport – by 11.4%, in light industry by 9.6%, in forestry and wood processing – by 9%.
The economic agents working in construction are concerned about the rising prices as they hinder the development of the construction sector.//REPORTER.MD
