Baltika’s turnover in Moldova in the first half of this year was 928,700 decaliters, up 66% year on year.

According to a communique from the company, the sales of Baltika beer made up 54% of the total sales. The sales of Arsenalinoe beer rose 32% compared with January-June last year.

At the same time, the sales of Baltika’s licensed brands Tuborg and Calsberg increased by 73% and, respectively, 54%.

Baltika’s worldwide sales in the first half of 2008 totaled 23.2 million hectoliters, by 6% more than a year before. Baltika exports beer to 50 countries. Its exports make up 70% of Russia’s total beer exports. In Moldova, Baltika started work in 2000.//REPORTER.MD
