Moldova-Gaz SA reported a profit of 82.4 million lei for the first half of this year.

According to sources in the company, the aggregate profit made in concert with the daughter companies working on the left bank of the Dniester came to 144.8 million lei.

In 2007, the Moldovan-Russian company Moldova-Gaz made a net profit of 633.39 million lei. In 2006 yet, the company sustained losses of 200.6 million lei.

The authorized capital of Moldova-Gaz SA is 1.332,9 billion lei. The Russian gas company Gazprom owns 50% of the shares in Moldova-Gaz, the Economy Ministry’s Public Property Agency – 35.33%, while the Committee for Property Administration of Transdniestria – 13.44%.//REPORTER.MD
