The Moldova State Budget revenues had exceeded 8.69 billion lei (US$658.4 million) in the first 10 months of the year, which is 244 million lei more (2.9%) than projected, and 1.45 billion lei (20.1%) greater than in the equivalent period of last year, the Ministry of Finance reported.
The average daily revenue figure has marked 35.5 million lei, against 29.7 million lei last year. Over 189 million lei was attracted for realization of investment projects in the republic in January-September.
The State Budget expenditures in January-October reached 7.89 billion lei (US$598 million), which was only 83.2% of the projected amount. And, still, the expenditures were 1.6 billion lei (25.5%) greater than a year before.
US$40.5 million was used for repaying the nation's external liabilities, of which US$24.7 million was repaid as the principal and US$15.8 million as the interest.
Over 151 million lei was used for servicing the government's domestic debt. //
