European Union will provide financial aid to GUAM
Moldova as a country part to the pro-West organization GUAM, in 2007-2010 will receive 209 mln euro from the EU for implementation of various projects.
Foreign mass media inform, it was said by the representative of the EC committee of economy and social policy Marius-Igen Opran by the results of Baku summit of the GUAM. He has noted that in general in accordance with the decision of the European Union decision in 2007-2010 Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova, members of the GUAM will receive for implementation of various projects 915 mln euro or US$1,2 bln . The allocated funds are to help the countries to integrate into the European structures. The main directions in the European Union aid distribution will be development of energy sector, transportation and infrastructure.
