U.S. crude oil prices, which rose more than $4 Wednesday, climbed another 40 cents in early electronic trading Thursday to $94.79 a barrel.
The rally was fueled by a government report that said U.S. crude supplies dropped for a fourth consecutive week.
Heating oil was up 2.51 cents to $2.6683 a gallon. Reformulated gas showed a 0.31 cents increase at $2.4165 a gallon.
Natural gas was up 0.02 cents at $7.42 per million British thermal units.
The price at the pump for an average U.S. gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.985, down a fraction from Wednesday, the AAA said.
