You've got to be careful of other people today -- not because they want to stab you in the back, but just because they might all be running off in their own directions. They're slightly out of control!

In Floresti, more than half of small entrepreneurs will have the right to work one more year without registering individual enterprises

Over 60 percent of the small entrepreneurs from Floresti will have the possibility to work until 2009 on the basis of brevets. The decision was taken by the local authorities as a result of the Monday meeting of the deputy-minister of Economy and Commerce, Viorel Melnic, with small entrepreneurs from the locality, DECA-press informs.
According to Iurie Tap, the mayor of Floresti town, a commission formed of local ciil servants, the administration of the market and small entrepreneurs assessed the number of working places at the market and came to the conclusion that over 60% of small entrepreneurs sell their goods at a stand and in containers. Since containers cannot be considered as pavilions, booths or rooms, we came to an agreement with small entrepreneurs, to use containers as deposits and arrange their working places on stands. This happens in order to follow the items of the Law of brevets, which permit the trade activity on stands until 2009, Iurie Tap also specified.
The local mayor also explained that the entrepreneurs' revolts were caused by the fact that the glossary of the Law 208 is not clear and it doesn't expain what a room means and what a stand is.
Last week, small entrepreneurs from Floresti organized a struke to protest against te changes in the Law of brevets which forces them to register individual enterprises. As a result of the protest, the Mayoralty of the locality addressed a demand to the Government for resolving the problem of entrepreneurs. // DECA-Press
