The republic of Moldova registers the biggest price raises according to the report „Global Economic Perspectives 2008”, elaborated by the World Bank and cited by DECA-press Agency.
The increase is due to the drought from the last summer as well as to the increase of the price of energetic resources.
At the same time, the data offered by ROSSTA from Moscow show that in Moldova the prices in 2005 were five times bigger than those registered in 1995. A higher increase in prices is registered only in Ukraine. These data are in the statistics yearbook of the Russian Federation for 2007. //
